We often attend Anglican services locally in Reading. Last Sunday, we heard a really good sermon from our local deacon about St Mary Magdalen, and Caroline and I asked if we could share it. If you were as disappointed as we were by the recent film about Mary Magdalen, this is a good tonic, a warning about how Mary's name and role has been besmirched, and how important a role she probably had in sustaining Jesus' mission, and in the early Church. Does that sound a familiar ongoing trait?
